Without a doubt the biggest night on the calendar. A four-course dinner, with each course generously provided by a Wyclif member at a new location. Previous years have seen Wyclif tour the eastern, northern and western suburbs. Will we venture bayside for this year's event?

The Nevermind WPL continues with the final group stage match with the Appetite for Construction/First Contact Australia Mental Disintegrators taking on the Superior Security Doors Super Kings. It is virtually an elimination final, as the winner heads into the final to take on the eagerly awaiting Love Bobs, and the loser leaves lamenting what could have been.

Will the Biancos actually play? Can the Super Kings recover their killer instinct? Will Greg hold on to a catch? Will Ed and JT's fragile friendship manage to survive this epic battle?

So many questions to answer - make sure you come down on Australia Day Eve to check out the action. The bar will be open, a killer BBQ being run, and the tunes will be blasting throughout the evening!

The Wyclif CC 1st XI are playing a stand-alone fixture the first game after Christmas on a Sunday (7th January). Wyclif are taking on top-spot Koonung Heights in a one-day match at home at Highfield Park in the return fixture after defeating them in Round 5.

This fixture change allows for players from other grades to see the 1st XI play (in our new one-day tops), and a marquee game for all club members and supporters to get involved in. 

The club will have a BBQ running throughout the day, the Bar will be open, and we will have some tunes spinning too. Make sure you invite your friends and family to come down and support the club and the 1st XI's big for finals.

We'll head to Alexandra for the first time this year. Leave after match reports Saturday night, stay in Yea that night (http://www.tourisminternet.com.au/yeacvp.htm; check the majestic Yea River!) then head over to Alexandra and back to Melb that night. Hopefully they'll let us on the track for the Wyclif Stakes.

Saturday from 5PM until late we have the Christmas party. All welcome, huge jumping castle for the kids who will be entertained for hours, along with a visit from Santa.

Milo, Juniors and Seniors Christmas Party
This year we have a bumper fun-filled Christmas Party to finish off a great year at the Wyclif Cricket Club this Saturday.

The party includes:

An appearance from Santa, direct from the North Pole (well Northland to be more exact)
A bouncy castle with trained supervisor
A BBQ including Wyclif's famous sausages, salad, gourmet burgers and vegetarian treats
Drinks for the kids and adults! 

It would be great to see family and friends from our Milo, Juniors and Seniors for a nice and relaxed catchup.
